RANG DE BASANTI is a film about awakening. About standing up for ones beliefs. Where the spirit of rebellion transcends time and age.A young London based filmmaker chances upon the diaries of her grandfather, who served in the british police force in India during the freedom struggle. Excited abouth these memories she makes plans to shoot a film on Indian revolutionaries mentioned in the diaries. She comes down to Delhi and casts a group of five friends to play the pivotal rules of these revolutionaries.

However products of modern India, the five youngsters refuse to be part of the project, as they don't identify with these chracters from the past. Now surprising, considering that they are part of a generation of Indians that believes in consumerism. To them issues like partriotism and giving ones life for ones beliefs is the stuff stuffy text book are made of. They would rather party then be patriots. 

Shaadi Karke Phas Gaya Yaar is a family social interspersed with humour and intense romance of Ayaan, a young robust dynamic and handsome man from an upper middle Class family who falls in love with a beautiful model called Ahana who belongs to a very liberal ultra rich family and is from the upper strata of the society. With the passage of time the two get married. Both Ayaan and Ahana are looking forward to a Happily married blissful and contented life.
But the future has something else for them. The things starts getting hunky-dory and gradually Ahana discovers that there is vast cultural difference between her Upbringing and Ayaan family. Small differences between two.
